DAY 1
After breakfast steeply drive to Momelas gate in Arusha National Park. The climb tot he lush forest and cross the Ngarenanyuki River to overnight at Meriakamba Hut.

DAY 3
Ascend steeply through pleasant forest glades to 3570m, high saddle hut where you have time to relax and enjoy lunch. The trek for further 4 hours to an attitude of 3790m to the summit of Little Meru. Return to overnight at Meriakamba Hut.

DAY 3
After an early start to Rhino point, reach the 4560m, high Mount Meru Summit in time to see sunrise behind Mount Kilimanjaro. Then descend to Momelas gate, where car will waiting to take you back to your hotel for a long overdue hot shower, with time to relax and celebrate your conquest of Mount Meru.
